Matt is the third-generation family owner of Hoover Architectural Products, a company founded in 1949 with a proud legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Having grown up in the business, Matt has worked in every role within the company, gaining the hands-on experience that shapes his leadership today.

Hoover specializes in custom fabricated fabric awnings, architectural and miscellaneous metals, trellises, building facades, and metal canopies. With more than 50,000 square feet of advanced manufacturing space, Hoover provides full design, fabrication, and installation capabilities. The company has successfully completed over 45,000 projects with a 100% completion rate, serving clients not only across the United States but also internationally—in the Caribbean, and as far as Dubai. Hoover also operates a wholesale division, supplying products to companies worldwide, including installations seen in airports across the globe.

In addition to leading Hoover, Matt owns Datum Wholesale Products, a national manufacturing company that fabricates custom metal products for projects across the country.

A Certified Building Contractor and accomplished inventor, Matt holds more than 15 patents—including the landmark U.S. Patent No. 9,000,000—recognized as a milestone in the history of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. His inventive mindset drives the culture of innovation that defines both Hoover and Datum today.

Outside of business, Matt is a licensed private pilot, an avid boater, and a proud father of two children attending Florida State University. His leadership reflects a unique blend of technical expertise, entrepreneurial vision, and deep family legacy, ensuring Hoover Architectural Products continues to thrive for generations to come.
