Hoover Architectural Products designed, manufactured, and installed a custom architectural metal canopy for the Centennial Village patio dining area at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.

The canopy frame was custom-designed and fabricated to accommodate the dimensions, layout, and functional requirements of the university’s outdoor dining space. Dedicated openings for integrated lighting and ceiling fans were incorporated directly into the metal canopy design, creating a streamlined architectural finish while supporting the comfort and everyday use of the patio.

 

Built for South Florida’s climate, the architectural metal canopy provides expansive protection from the sun and rain. The completed structure creates a cooler, more comfortable covered dining area where students can gather and dine outdoors throughout the year.

This University of Miami project demonstrates how a custom commercial metal canopy can combine weather protection, integrated building features, and modern architectural design within a solution tailored to the property.
